How does Fridgent work?

Take a photo of your fridge, pantry, or counter. Fridgent's AI identifies the ingredients it sees, then generates real, cookable recipes built around what you have — complete with steps, cook times, and pro-tips.

How many recipes can I get for free?

You get 3 free recipe scans every day. Upgrade to Fridgent Premium for unlimited scans.

The AI missed or misread an ingredient. What do I do?

You can add any missing ingredients manually before generating recipes, and remove anything it picked up by mistake. For best results, take a well-lit photo with items clearly visible — Fridgent will warn you if a photo looks too dark.

How do I set my dietary preferences and allergies?

Open Settings → Personalize taste. There you can set your cooking skill, spice level, diet style, allergies, disliked ingredients, favorite cuisines, nutrition goals, household size, and max cook time. Every recipe is then tailored to you.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are billed through your app store account. To manage or cancel, go to your device's Subscriptions settings (App Store on iOS, Google Play on Android). Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Premium until the current period ends.

How do I restore a purchase on a new device?

Open the paywall or Settings and tap Restore purchases. As long as you're signed into the same app store account you bought with, your Premium access will be restored.

Are my photos stored?

Your photo is sent securely to our AI service to detect ingredients and is not retained after processing. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

What devices does Fridgent support?

Fridgent runs on modern iOS and Android phones. A camera and an internet connection are required to scan and generate recipes.
